I have been in this store twice now, and both times I walked around for 20-30 minutes trying out chairs and looking at desks. Both times, not a single person said even a hello. Not only that, they almost seemed to actively avoid me. Everytime I walked towards someone to talk to them, they would walk away quickly. I even yelled "excuse me" to a lady and she turned the other way and left. I can only assume it was like this because I wasn't wearing a suit and tie and didn't look like some corporate hot shot. It's too bad for them as I was there to spend quite a bit of money.
Bought a refurbished Aeron from atWork and the condition was perfect. Damaged a lever while moving, and they had their guys come by and repair it as soon as they could. Shoutout to Tyler for helping me through the processes.
Ordered an office chair online. Within minutes of submitting the order, I received a call from the company telling me that the chair I ordered would not be available for over a month, and asked if I would like to substitute. I decided not to, but I certainly appreciated the call. The chair did arrive somewhat in advance of the later delivery date, and all is great with it.

It's been a long time since amazing customer service has impressed me. I was in the market for a chair mat and when I asked around, I was told there were a lot of awful ones out there. I found atWork Office Furniture and started chatting with Rodney on their great chat pop-up. I ordered the mat right away on the advice of the chatter. Once it arrived, I found there was a manufacturing flaw in it. (I was told this is very uncommon as they have been ordering from this company for 30 years!)After asking if I can fix this, the owner called me up and said he would replace it. They kindly delivered it to me before Christmas. I am very grateful that they got it to me before then. I was also looking for a chair and again, Rodney helped me by asking what I liked or needed in a specific office chair and he sent me a selection online. We have previously purchased furniture from Lovers so we were aware that they carried quality products so we went to them first when we were looking for furniture for our office. We selected some reception furniture from some suggested products and placed our order. When our furniture arrived we found that it did not really fit what our clients needed once the clients tested it out. I emailed Eric who was helping us with our order to let him know the client feedback we had on the chairs. Pregnant women are a special demographic for furniture due to their mobility challenges through the months. Eric responded right away and although our pieces were custom - he immediately offered to make it right. I was shocked as generally with most companies, this is not the level of customer service given. Eric went away to find us even more options based on the client feedback and came back with the PERFECT solution. We received them today and we can't be more happy! Ordered an Icon Q2, it was easy to order online and the service team were prompt to answer my questions. Shipping was smooth once I was signed up for text alerts from the shipper.The chair is great. My old Serta chair had to be raised too far from the floor to reach the desk properly and then the arms couldn't be adjusted to the proper height. This chair fixes all of that. It does have a pretty stiff spring for leaning back, but you can lock the position.

Very Happy with desk, the options to customize the size for Belair L shaped desk sold me. I didn't have any experience with the product before so was a little skeptical but after been using it for a few weeks I am very happy with the product.I got a surprise when I emailed to check the status of the order and was notified that I was in the delivery window, was not able to be prepared for the delivery.Overall a very good product and good company.
Great service, and nice product selection with Canadian-made options. I was looking for a new desk table top and found atWork. They sell a nice variety of products. Unfortunately it seems most items are made-to-order, so there's a huge delay between ordering and shipping, but they're upfront about this and very clear. Customer support is super helpful, and the local delivery to Guelph went well -- they ended up delivering it 2 weeks early, which was wonderful. I'll definitely shop here again.
Large place with a good amount of options on new and used furniture. Sales staff were okay, they brought chairs from their own office for me to try that they didn't have on the showroom floor, however they didn't give me much information on each chair. It could be beneficial to explain features and details of products to customers, but that's just my opinion, otherwise a good place to get office furniture.
Ordered a Hon chair for home office, it came at a great price. They had to wait for a volume order for the item that is not normally carried in Canada so the order took a little while longer. Staff was very friendly and when my order came through a bit over a month it came pre-assembled. Not sure if their website was setup with individual buyers in mind, but it would be maybe nicer to have some sort of status updates on the account page. Overall though I got what I was looking for and delivery was free so no complaints. Clarification free delivery because I'm local to them.
Bought a HumanScale 300 Foot Rocker and the team at atWork communicated to me via email every step of the way. The item arrived at my doorstep in perfect condition. Took about a week to get shipped but it arrived in a couple of days. Would buy again from atWork!

After shopping in-store and online for weeks, I finally decided to go with atWork Office Furniture. The final product is exactly what I ordered and everything I had hoped for. The colour is perfect, the construction is great, and setup was a breeze. It's very hard to find a large desk but these folks were more than happy and able to accommodate my needs. The desk was designed and constructed in Canada. Delivery was fast across the country from Ontario to Alberta. Packaging was more than sufficient to protect the furniture in transit. And then called to arrange delivery (which was fairly prompt given that we live outside of a major city). I am very happy with the chair and the service every step of the way was great.
I purchased the Belair Lite Office desk and its better than what I imagined. Very sturdy and the top board is solid, clean and well made. I was worried how it would arrive but to my surprise it was well packaged and arrived perfect. There was a shipping delay (as expected during this time) but Jennifer was responsive to my emails all through the process. Highly recommend

Looks and feels brand new and is less than half the price of a new one.If you’re not sure what to buy, they also have a very helpful recommendations section on their website. atWork provided poor customer service, repeated inaccurate quotes (including incorrect specifications for furniture on final order), and overall poor turnaround time. Delivery guys also put together the furniture incorrectly, not once but twice, and we had to show them a second time how to install legs properly on desk before it was done correctly. They also scuffed our newly painted office walls with their dolly during installation. Delivery guys started out wearing masks per COVID by-law, and by the end, they had taken them off and were overall careless. A lot of wasted time back and forth, and a poor experience. Products themselves turned out nicely. Would not recommend giving your business to atWork.
Purchased a desk and chair for my home office. The chair selection was based on an employee review which was spot on... the chair is perfectly comfortable! Both items were easy to assemble. There was excellent communication as I awaited my delivery and the deliverymen were professional and friendly. I would recommend Lovers atWork...and I have!
Bought a table for my office. It came sooner than expected. Unfortunately it was not assembled and there were no pre-drilled holes for me to assemble. I contacted atWork and they sent someone that week to assemble it at no cost for me! It looks great! Excellent quality. We've had one in a different office for 15 years (Same one) and it stands the test of time!
Great clean store with all the amenities for am office anywhere and to fit every room. However the prices for the new office supplies were on the more expensive end which makes sense and their outlet or second hand section was great for budget offices. The staff there were very helpful however one of the staff sounded impatient when we asked for help which soured the mood a tad bit. Overall I loved the store and would recommend.
I ordered an office chair for a work from home office setup. The order was confirmed promptly and staff were in in touch by phone to provide updates on expected delivery times. It was refreshing to be able to speak to real people rather than voiceautomated customer service. The chair was delivered on the date committed and arrived fully assembled. It did not come with an instruction manual but since the chair was a fairly simple design I didn't need one to operate the features effectively. This was a great experience. Love my new desk (Icon Straight desk with O legs). Putting it together was a simple task and the material is super strong. The O-legs are quite heavy and made from real steel. Delivery was amazingly quick and well communicated. Follow up and customer care is excellent. This was my first new desk ever, my old desk was bought used from the UWO in London - many decades ago. The desk is modern and the 66" width is now allowing me to run with two computers on my desk, as is needed during this work from home period. The height is just excellent and overall I am very happy with it.

Despite receiving several emails initially confirming my order with receipt of payment, I never did receive any follow up correspondence regarding the status of my online order (one of the emails received read in part: "Within the next 2 business days, you’ll receive a confirmation email with an estimated ready date"). I never did receive a follow up email. After 9 days I called to follow up on my order and was assured I would be contacted the next day to advise me of the status of my order... which never happened. Called a second time 13 days after order placed and was again assured I would receive a phone call the following day... yet again nothing. I can understand if an order is delayed due to circumstances out of atWork's control, however, nothing was ever mentioned, leaving me to believe there is either a lack of transparency or poorly trained staff. Either way I'm not impressed with how my order has been handled to date. Hopefully someone can take charge and begin delivering on the promises that have to date remain unfulfilled. *EDIT*... Received order and ultimately was happy with transaction despite issue mentioned.

I ordered a standing desk during the Covid-19 work-from-home mandate of my company. Their $50 delivery charge also included setup of the desk, which easily saved me 1-2 hours of work and disposing of the packaging. We had a few back-and-forth emails to schedule a delivery time and they were responsive to each email and accommodating. The delivery people were friendly. My only complaint is that they didn't leave the owner's manual behind, and I'm one of those guys who likes to RTFM :) Overall, I was very happy with the products and services from atWork.

I contacted atwork through the support chat on their website. Rodney and Jennifer both provided very helpful support to track the issue with UPS and issue a refund even though UPS was the one that lost the package. I highly recommend Atwork! We didn't want to spend on a full cubicle system so we opted for freestanding style panel system that was sufficient for our needs. They were very professional and easy to deal with throughout the sales process. From design, quote and payment, to delivery setup and installation, the whole process was very smooth and turned out exactly how I had hoped. I am really happy with the service and products I have recently received from Lovers At Work and I would highly recommend Lovers at Work for any office furniture purchase. Trish first helped me to select the brand, style, and colour of furniture. She asked me some great questions, took the time to walk me through the showroom, and laboured with me over making sure we were getting the right colour. When we got in to the details she included Chris in the conversation. Chris was incredibly knowledgeable, made some great suggestions, and really took the time to help me get the little details right. It’s those little details, like the inset end panel and carefully placed openings in panels that allow me to still access the wall outlets, that have really helped me feel happy with the furniture. The install crew was fantastic - positive, courteous, and did a great job putting the furniture together. When they found a (factory) error they explained the problem, offered up solutions, and made sure that things were in place to get the problem fixed. The furniture I purchased is high quality, functional, and looks great in my home office.
after looking at their website, I drove from waterloo to Cambridge to get a clothing rack for our sewing shop. when there I am told they don't carry that type of item and when I mentioned that I saw that clothing rack on their website, I was told in a careless manner that "we don't carry everything that is on the website" I had bought the same item at Atwork in London may be it is worth the drive to have a good service.
I went to the Lover at Work London showroom looking for filing cabinets. Lucille was extremely helpfully in finding what I needed. We found two that had "previous experience" but needed a hanger for the files. Lovers located the needed part the next day and I was able to set up my home office right away. I can't recommend Lovers AtWork enough. I moved to a new office in July, and the process of ordering exactly what I needed could not have been easier. Their delivery people were superb, as were the warehouse staff who assisted me in adding to/changing my order at the last minute. When the furniture was delivered, the staff who came to my office were fast, courteous, did an excellent job assembling and positioning the furniture in line with my requests, and there wasn't a scratch on a single piece they brought in for me. They also offered to take all the trash/wrappings away at the end. I will be using AtWork for all future office furniture needs, and I wouldn't hesitate to rec\commend them to any of my colleagues or fellow business owners.
A 5 star rating for Lovers atWork is a no brainer for me. The level of customer service, support and responsiveness offered by these folks is incredible. They sincerely care about their customers. I ordered a custom reception desk for a new build office space and part way through the process had to redesign my entire reception area. It was stressful to say the least. The redesign meant that the original desk I chose would no longer fit. Rodney graciously worked with me to choose another desk and then rushed the manufacturing and shipping to have it at my location (across the country I'll add) in time for my opening. A 5 star rating for Lovers atWork is a no brainer for me. The level of customer service, support and responsiveness offered by these folks is incredible. They sincerely care about their customers. I ordered a custom reception desk for a new build office space and part way through the process had to redesign my entire reception area. It was stressful to say the least. The redesign meant that the original desk I chose would no longer fit. Rodney graciously worked with me to choose another desk and then rushed the manufacturing and shipping to have it at my location (across the country I'll add) in time for my opening. Products we purchased were exactly like what we saw in pictures (that's a good thing). One of the desks was scratched, but the company agreed to give us a reduced price, or we could send it back and get a new one delivered. Overall satisfied with service, and with the actual products we bought.

Buying through a website is easy, but when problems arise is where the customer service experience starts. Emerson, and her partners have been absolutely fantastic to deal with through the entire process of buying our very large office product. The product was dropped shipped to my office and the staff were there for every part of that process. Very impressed with both the quality of the cabinets and the installation. Modern look with a solid feel. Jennifer was a great help with measurement and design of the kitchen and bathroom and was a pleasure to work with.

Super comfortable. As promised our staff is much more productive...night and day difference. We have always purchased Haworth in the past but these ICON chairs are WAY better quality for much less money. Couldn’t be any happier. What a great experience I had with Jeff's atWork!Placed an order online right before the Christmas holiday, on a Friday at 4 pm. Within 5 minutes someone called to confirm my order and assured me that I will have my reception desk before the specified date.Beginning of January, I decided to change my order; needless to say, Aaron, which assisted me, was very accommodating, promised me whatever I asked for.And that's exactly what I got. Earlier than promised. They delivered, assembled and installed the desk, and left within three quarter of an hour. Great service, great attitude, I would recommend them to anyone! Generally, overpriced office furniture. Store has majority of market in area and little competition. Orders take 4+ weeks to come in. Getting responses after purchase difficult. As a corporate client, I would expect much better service.

The team made it all very simple for us based on what we wanted. Delivery and installation is coming soon but given the experience working with this group it will all go well and easy.

Outstanding quality and service, I ordered a Steelcase chair from them, and they could not have been more pleasant and accommodating. The chair arrived in great shape and it was a great price. Very satisfied.
We bought a reception desk from here a month ago and it arrived built the wrong way. I called and spoke to Luke and the team there made it right 2 weeks later with the proper desk.
